We draw on the history of a site and harmony with the surroundings to arrive at unique solutions. Villages of old were usually quite attractive places full of characterful houses. How then did we come to create so many repetitious and boring housing estates? We try to identify the 'Genius Loci' in sites and develop them accordingly - with a strong emphasis on local distinctiveness. It makes good financial sense too!
